Samsung SyncMaster D190S 18.5in LapFit Display video review

A stylish display that's tailored to be paired with your notebook or netbook, Samsung's SyncMaster D190S has a lot of potential and lives up to most of it. It's lighter and uses less electricity than a 'normal' monitor, is easy to operate and has reasonable viewing angles. If you can live with its image-quality faults it's definitely worth checking out. I'll be getting one of these !!





It makes an excellent photo frame - at a fraction of the price. Now I can finally put the second VGA output of my media centre pc to good use !

@Gemma: USB is indeed a digital interface, but the D190S only has VGA. To get DisplayLink, you need to go a step up to the D190SU (not the D190S). Hence the display reviewed here does not have any form of digital connectivity.

Seemed like an ideal, low cost, low profile and portable secondary screen solution :(
