The high quality lens, high-res sensor and low compression result in excellent detail.

Wide angle barrel distortion is corrected digitally.

Centre sharpness is superb.

Corner sharpness is also very good, although the digital distortion correction causes a little blurring in the far corners. No chromatic aberration though.
