The Samsung Genio Touch is by no means perfect. It's disappointing that a phone that's targeted at social network users lacks 3G and it's maddening that Samsung hasn't include an onscreen QWERTY keyboard. In other areas, however, it puts in a good showing thanks to its easy to use operating system, impressive line-up of widgets and good battery life. If you're on a budget, but are interested in a touchscreen handset, it's worth checking out.Read full review
While the review does point out the good and bad points evenly, I can't understand why this phone is constantly compared to iPhone class products. Come on, it's just an 80 quid phone (PAYG). What do you expect?
Fortunately, the value verdict seems to justify it in the end.
I just won one of these little things, it's a long way from tacky..in fact it's solid and well built compared to most mobiles...it's also a really handy size and nice to use.
For a lady or teen it would be perfect being quite a nice design. Comparing it to an Iphone is just daft, it's not meant to compare as it's aimed at a different market.
This one isn't for me, I love my N series too much...but so many people want this little phone I won't have a problem finding it a new home. It's cute.
