The Aficio GX3000s is a big, robust, office inkjet, which certainly has the speed to warrant its place in a shortlist of colour laser replacements. Text quality is not nearly as good as a typical laser, however, and is pushed to keep its place among other inkjets, too. The 300dpi scanner (600dpi only in black and white) is just enough for OCR, but colour copies lack definition. If print speed is the prime factor in your choice, this machine may still rate, but if it's print quality you're looking for, you should try elsewhere. Read full review
