On this page the full size image at the minimum and maximum ISO settings have been reduced to let you see the full image, and a series of full resolution crops have taken from original images at a range of ISO settings to show the overall image quality.

This is the full frame at the minimum ISO setting.

If you look at the upper part of this shot, you'll see image noise even at the ISO 80 setting.

Noise is noticeably worse at ISO 160.

Progressively more noise at ISO 320.

----



Not much worse at ISO 400, but then it's only 1/3rd of a stop higher.

A sudden dip in quality at ISO 800.

At ISO 1000 the image quality is very poor.
