The Pentax K-m is a good choice for those new to DSLR photography. Compared to its entry-level rivals, it has superior build quality, feels good in the hand and will produce excellent results. More experienced users will also find enough advanced features and custom options to fine tune their shots with ease. Such a shame then that the lack of AF target points in the viewfinder lets down what is otherwise a solid design.
