Although it takes a bit of initial work to get the best out of the P42G15, making us wish Panasonic had put a bit more effort into its picture presets, it's still entirely capable of being an excellent TV.
Given that its picture quality doesn't seem to differ from that of the cheaper (by a couple of hundred pounds or so) P42G10, I'm bound to say that maybe that's the model to go for ahead of the P42G15 if you're not bothered about the latter model's extra HDMI and multimedia/online talents. But this is a personal decision for you to make yourselves rather than any reason for me to downgrade the set's marks.Read full review
Have you got any more info in the media streaming capabilities using the ethernet port? i.e. what file formats are tested to work and is it fussy about how things are encoded?
Is there any news on when we may expect a full review of the TX-P50V10? I am interested to know if this really is a comparible alternative to the Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX5090?
Oh how refreshing to see ANOTHER review for a Panasonic Plasma on this site - be nice to see some reviews on the new LG or Samsung 2009 Plasma range to see how they stack up with the Panasonics ...
