The P42G10 continues to prove that Panasonic's NeoPDP panels have moved the brand's plasma technology up a gear, and so are well worth saving up for over Panasonic's latest non-NeoPDP models.
I should say that even the introduction of NeoPDP doesn't raise Panasonic's game right up to the level exhibited by the last of Pioneer's 9 series plasmas. But once you've taken the P42G10's aggressive price and Freesat tuner into account, it still stands out as another seriously fine addition to Panasonic's impressive plasma tradition.Read full review
Very tempted by this TV. Great price, and features. You had to go and mention the higher end models though didn't you? Now I have to wait until you've got your paws on those before I take the plunge.
Think 6/10 is pretty harsh for design. It's exactly the same as on the 46", but you (well possibly different reviewer) gave it an 8! Having seen these in the shops the thing that strikes me is the build/plastics quality. LG/Samsung may have some eye catching designs, but compared to the Panny's their surrounds seem a bit cheap and creaky.
