Our Score:

A range of general test shots are shown over the next two pages. In some cases, the full size image has been reduced for bandwidth purposes, and a crop taken from the original full resolution image has been placed below it to show the overall image quality. Some other pictures may be clicked to view the original full-size image.

The versatile lens makes for some nice creative compositions.

This shot would have been better with greater dynamic range. As it is, the highlights are over-exposed and the shadows lack detail.

Slow-sync flash is fun.

The 16x9 widescreen mode is good for panoramic views.

My husband and I bought this camera 6 weeks ago, and we love it. Takes great pictures, and it's quick. The auto mode is awesome and stupid friendly. Takes great action shots of our daughter jumping around in ballet, or shots of my husband riding our horses. In either situation, we get clear shots with great color. We love this camera.
