I have an RS6 set up (albeit in stereo only) and absolutely love it - so never really doubted the replacement models would impress.

The black gloss would have gone perfect with my living room too - maybe time to talk to the missus?...

Not sure about the look of the book shelf speakers though

The black gloss finish is sexy :)

I have to say that every MA speaker just gets better and and better. Unlike most other companies (who seem to be forgetting their bread and butter and going off in search of the holy grail), MA put a lot of eefort into making the speakers look and sound better and better. The RX series is brilliant and I am just on the verge of buying this very AV package. Thanks MA for amazing speakers!

How about the RX8 as speaker instead of RX^. I heart they are better for music and not much more expensive than RX6?

I have a pair of Monitor Audio Gold Series (floor standing} speakers that I purchased 10 years ago. They were by far the best speakers I auditioned for listening to music at low/ moderate to very loud volume levels. Many speakers are way short on proper bass when being played at lower volume levels. I was certain I was going to buy the B&W speakers until I auditioned the Monitor Audio speakers - and the B&W's retailed for $1000.00 more. The Monitor Audio speakers were all around better sounding at every volume level. I have had no problems at all and have played them loud and long for 10 years. The quality and build of the new models look at least as good as what I purchased - perhaps better. I'd have to listen. I highly recommend their product. Note: I also purchased a Musical Fidelity NuVista Integrated Amplifier ant the NuVista Xray CD player at the same time. Over priced perhaps, but the sound cold not be much better. So, I also highly recommend an audition of Musical Fidelity components. Ten years of great sound with heavy play and no problems = great components.
