The MSI G41M delivers a level of performance that would have been impressive six months ago but it doesn't cut the mustard in 2009 despite its very modest price.

If my old computer with its 945G motherboard and GMA 950 can manage Vista's Aero I don't see why a G31 with the newer (but still rubbish) GMA 3100 can't.
Your comment is very valid as GMA 950 is very similar to GMA 3100, except that you have less video memory and a slower core. I am probably guilty of some short hand here and should have said 'run Aero properly'
