@afsd - would you care to define "input lag" on a TV? You're surely not talking about the same input lag that gamers complain about on desktop TFT monitors, are you? Is there measureable lag between twiddling my Xbox 360 'stick and the change on-screen??
Hi Geoff. Yep that's exactly what I'm talking about.
After playing Call Of Duty on a Panny LZ800 (very low lag), then playing it on the new Samsung B650 with game mode OFF it was massively noticeable (thank god for game mode on that one). Guitar hero was a struggle on it also.
Far from being a pain, the EPG on this is the only one where you can actually exclude channels. With the increasing number of duff channels available this is an absolute must. It is one of the few TVs where the EPG DOES show upcoming programmes, and DOES keep the current programme in the background with the sound playing. In fact after playing with numerous makes in the showroom this EPG comes out top. Its a pity the picture is overly smoothed on freeview.
richersounds are currently heavily discounting all the LG xxLF7700 TVs except the 42; I asked LG to confirm the panel type of the 32" and they said it was 10 bit IPS. Does anyone know if there's significant differences between the various xxLF7700 models?
At Richer Sounds in Bromley, Kent the 42LF77 is selling at £649.95 whereas the 47LF77 is only £599.95 online!! I was looking for a 37 inch - Bromley nearly persuaded me to go for the 42LF77. A pity the 47 is too big!!
