first off i would like to say that when i brought this printer last year 2008 it was recomended as a all round good photo printer and for the first six months that it was. then all went wrong first the print head refused to print black so i contacted kodak who were good and sent me a new printhead and ink and told me they had problems with the early models and this would solve them. (great i thought). a couple of weeks later i started to recive more errors when i contacted kodak they told me it was the print head again so they replace it, but this did not reslove the problem, so they said they would replace the printer for a new one but they sent me an old refubished one with scratches and dirty when i conplained and asked to speak with a manager im told they only work mondays. well i would never buy anything from kodak again and after rchecking a few forums this seems to be a common problem so i would advise you buy something without the kodak brand name.

I've had exactly the same problems as Astroid, but I needed to send it back to be repaired. Then I tried it again and it worked passably well, so I didn't send it in. Worked a few times, then same problem again, mostly using black in. I deep cleaned the printhead 6 times and it worked 0nce. Wehn I turned it on again it didn't use the black ink at all. clean page! I would never buy another Kodak. it has been very frustrating. I've had different printers during the last 20 years and none of them are as good as Epson.
