Thank you for the useful report. I have one question about the following statement of the duplexer:

"Our 20-page text document took 5:10 seconds to produce, an equivalent of just 0.97ppm."

I would say that 20 pages (=10 sheets of doublesided paper) in 5:10 minutes/seconds has an equivalent of 1.94 doublesided pages per minute. Or do I understand it wrong?

Another question is: is this measured is standard mode (which I expect) or in draft mode?

One more question about hte following statement:

"Copying an A4 page only takes around 20 seconds, though, which is much better, and the copy quality is unusually good, with black text in particular being almost indistinguishable from the original."

Is this the time for a doublesided page or for a singlesided page?

Is it possible to make doublesided scans out of the ADF (so for example scan 10 doublesided pages in one time)?

I bought an HP L7590 multifunction mashine, had problem with scanning with the feeder a-lot-of-pages-both-sides document as the printer stucks while scanning and "looses" pages (I noticed that every ~10-20 pages, a page was upside down in the output, and it was missing from the scanned document. I changed the mashine with a brand new one (hopefully the store I bought it does this) and the new one had the same problem!!! I send it back, now I have a canon pixma mx850 and I am very happy. Before this, I had the same bad experience with a smaller one HP 6310 (use 2 mashines with the same problem). I WONT USE AGAIN "HP" IN MY LIFE!!!

Slow duplexing excepted this is a quick ink-jet all-in-one with fair running costs, particularly when you consider the maintenance frequency. Output is easily good enough for office use and draft mode is probably all you need for internal documentation. Thus, if you need a good quality all-in-one with a higher than normal duty cycle, you should certainly consider the OfficeJet Pro L7590.
