Overall, judging from these two machines, there’s not a lot to choose from in terms of performance and staying power between the Core Duo T2300 and the Turion X2 ML-52, which is good news for AMD. The HP Compaq is cheaper though, enabling it to be paired with more memory, which gives it the edge in this case. This means that it’s the rest of the specification and the design that the decision is based on. Here, the cool finishing touches, and the sleek look of the Compaq pay off. It just looks like a more stylish product than the Samsung that will look better in the home environment. It’s also cheaper and has a better memory complement. If the two were side by side, I’d be choosing the HP Compaq V6000.

I have 2 of these computers. PLEASE avoid buying them. They have had a recall on the motherboard. Last year I had one that went out and they repaired it. I told them I had another and they did not bother to tell it was under recall. Now the 2nd one has gone and because the recall EXPIRED they will only give me 10% off the amount of 398.00. What a joke. I can buy another computer with these specs around that. I have bought MANY compaq computers...Due to customer service when their products are bad...NEVER again!!
