Good review in terms of detail but I wouldn't have marked it so high when you consider the sound quality and the price. I was really keen on buying one in hope I could have a nice speaker to take on holiday and one with a bit more oomph for the bedroom but it sounded tinny when I visited Currys to check it out last night. It was in there for 䀏 rather than 𧵍 but I still didn't think it was worth spending that much on. Anyone got any other ideas on buying seperate units? Any good tips?
Owned this Gear4 product but the battery pack exploded over night damaging the complete dock beyond repair. Unfortunately the Gear4 guys just said it was out of warranty and I should have replaced the battery pack myself since it was already end of life. So please note; if you own a Gear4 product with a battery pack, replace the battery pack regularly or remove it altogether if you don't use it. Otherwise there is always a chance it will explode and damage the speaker itself.
Own a Gear 4 Duo good sound, battery has swelled, can you get a replacement battery
