On paper the idea of combining Phenom with SLI may look promising but it doesn't work well in the real world. The cost is high while performance is low and that's a horrible combination.
Some high end Thermaltake and Lian Li cases have 8 pci expansion slots, and other case manufacturers will too. The average number for a tower case is 7 though, but to buy this motherboard and stick it in your average case would seem a little illogical (so would buying it in the first place though).
@Gnormie: "(so would buying it in the first place though)." couldn't agree more! Talk of power-guzzling overkill that'll be outperformed by a single-card solution in two generations.
