For its price, there's plenty to like about the Epson Stylus SX215, such as its LCD display, simple operation and excellent photo prints. There are a few things to weigh against these, though, with its very noisy paper feed, universally slow print, expensive colour costs and uneven black text. We'd lean towards the PIXMA MP270, if we were buying at this price.Read full review
I have regretted purchasing the Epsom Stylus SX215 as I've had trouble from the start and more trouble each time I replaced ink. The printer is also inconsistent with the info it gives out making it difficult for folk who are less computer/printer literate like myself to use it properly. The printing process is slow though the quality, when working, is good. It seems as if the printer will only work consistently if genuine Epsom ink is used but that does make it much more expensive to run. I tried using IJT inks but they seem completely incompatible with this printer.
