A friend of mine bought a similarly cheap mono laser printer recently (might even be this one, don't know the manufacturer), and the ozone emissions must be pretty terrible. Any word on that? I've never smelled ozone with my (quite cheap) Lexmark printer.
A parallel port? Who thought that was a good idea? I haven't used a parallel port printer in at least 8 years, and pretty much no motherboard built in at least the last 5 years has a parallel port, while all have a multitude of USB ports. Surely they could have shaved a few pence off their bill of costs right there, which has got to be important in a super budget printer like this?
@Ala Miah - It does have a USB port, but it apparently also has a parallel port. According to the article: "At the back are sockets for USB and parallel ports, though the printer has no network connection."
I might be buying one soon, but I hate printers in general because they stop working for whatever reason and are so diffuclt to fix. I mean how much do I spend fixing a £20-30 printer with a recommendation from trusted reviews?
£10, £20? a new one will cost me that much anyway.
