Draytek Vigor2820n Wireless ADSL2/2+ Firewall Router

Our Score:

DrayTek's quick start wizard speeds up installation and offers a useful auto-detect feature.

For WAN failover you have a good range of options for controlling how the second WAN port behaves.

Support for up to four different wireless SSIDs is unusual at this price point.

A change may be on the horizon but for now SurfControl provides excellent web content filtering options.

The free USB wireless N adapter comes with a useful monitoring tool that worked fine with Vista.

Can we have more tests on their VOIP integrated routers please - this is surely their real USP amongst the broad mass of samey wireless routers out there.

I've had this router nearly a year now, I bought one soon after the new series was launched. In all that time, it has been fautless - not a single outage.

Thanks for the review.

But I have a query : How much Users can connect to internet via this machine at most ?

with a server and without..

I have to say I'm not convinced by the performance of this router.

The processor in this router can't handle bandwidth properly using QoS, if you don't need it turn it off!

I know this review is old now but what sort of performance testing did TR do on this router? Not sure it warrants a score of 9 more like 6.
