User Score:

The A540’s fast start-up and focusing are essential for capturing spur-of-the-moment wildlife shots. You don’t want to be hanging around with a dangerous animal like this on the loose.

The minimum focusing distance isn’t stated in the specification list, but it appears to be about 5cm.

This is a good compact digital camera of a good brand and has decent IQ and possibilities especially for a compact , since most compacts dont have P, M , A(v), T(v)(S) modes , this one does . I like that and the fact that it has 6mp wich is more tan enough for High Quality printing up to at least 20 x 30 cm

It is easy to use and not so heavy and still enough for a vacation or camera for in the car..
