If you're on a limited budget, you can do a lot worse than the well built and fully adjustable BenQ G2200WT 22in monitor. Sure the image quality isn't professional grade, but for the average user its sufficient.

Bought this monitor from dabs. The first one had a defective panel. sort of half rainbow of white/grey halos on the bottom left. The replacement is fine. Great adjustability. The screen itself is excellent. No stuck pixels at all. The auto preset is fine for my usage. Solid build quality too. The review is spot on which is why I bought this model. I would recommend this model without hesitation. Replays from BBC iplayer are great as are DVD's.
