I would have to disagree with this article and rate Alienware as one of the worst products ever. I purchased a M9750 and it worked for a week and then stopped working. Sent it to the repair facility numerous times that I lost count. Long story short 11 months later and just given up working with tech support; now I'm stuck with a $5000.00 U.S. paper weight that won't power on... Sad!
@dwace - I sympathise, that sounds like an awful tech support experience on a different (seemingly lemon) machine. Sadly however those issues don't really apply to this model so I don't see how Andy is mistaken. If you want to send me some more information to my TR email I'm sure I can find someone at Alienware to speak to you (I have no idea why it simply wouldn't have been replaced) or - in all honesty - why you'd give up and accept a "$5,000.00 US paper weight". No one deserves that.
