In the end it's quite hard to know quite how to judge the H5350. In many ways it makes its £421 price tag look quite ridiculously cheap, with pictures a country mile better than anything else I've seen for anything like the same puny outlay. But at the same time, if you're particularly prone to seeing DLP's rainbow effect, you might find some footage almost unwatchable on the H5350. Hmm. The way I see it, you have two options. First, you can try and find £500 more cash for the much superior InFocus X10. Or second, you can try and find some way of test driving an H5350 to see how much the rainbow effect bothers you. If you are troubled by the rainbow effect, our ‘6' mark for picture should be more like a 5. Whereas if you're not bothered by it all, you could just about raise the mark to a 7, especially if you're thinking about it in the context of other projectors in its price range.

Be aware! If you are any sensitive to the rainbow effect like i am, you will hate this projector. I had to return it to the shop because i couldn't stant the image produced: my eyes but get tired quickly, my head would hurt, and i would see the colors in the dark at bed before sleeping...

Otherwise, you don't suffer from the rainbow effect, this is magnific quality projector!
